CFO Alliance Quarterly Roundtables

A professional organization aimed at emerging and mid-market financial leaders, the CFO Alliance is offering quarterly roundtables for CFO leaders in a number of cities beginning at the start of October with its Q3 2023 Quarterly Roundtable in New York. The roundtable will zero in on how CFOs should be thinking about their budgets in an uncertain economic environment.
MIT Sloan CFO Summit
November 14
Boston, Massachusetts
The annual MIT summit, started in 2002, looks to connect financial professionals with the school’s faculty. Its upcoming summit, titled “Delivering Results,” will include sessions and tracks surrounding how CFOs work within their organizations to help set critical goals and deliver key outcomes.
AICPA & CIMA ESG & Sustainability Conference

The online conference run by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants will examine what finance leaders need to know about environmental, social and governance issues, which are becoming a higher priority for CFOs. The event will focus on upcoming regulatory rules by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the ISSB, carbon accounting reporting, and how CFOs and controllers can prepare for the future of ESG and sustainability.
AICPA & CIMA CFO Conference
April 24-26, 2024
Charleston, South Carolina; Online
The AICPA & CIMA’s CFO conference in April will take a wider look at the trends and issues CFOs need to keep their attention on. It will also delve into the “hot button” issues finance chiefs should be keeping in mind, as it aims to provide finance chiefs and corporate leaders with the insights needed to make more effective strategic decisions.
FINRA Annual Conference
May 14-16, 2024
Washington, D.C.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s annual conference will focus on the latest regulatory and compliance trends and topics, including risk management, crypto asset developments and threats in financial crimes. The full agenda is to be provided at a later date.
Gartner CFO & Finance Executive Conference
May 20-21, 2024
National Harbor, Maryland
The annual conference offers sessions focused on particular areas of importance to CFOs and financial professionals. Its 2023 conference included tracks focused on financial talent, utilizing artificial intelligence for finance data and best practices for guiding one’s organization through times of slower growth. The agenda for its 2024 conference is still in development.
CFO Leadership Conference
June 4-6, 2024
Boston, Massachusetts
The CFO Leadership Council is a professional organization for financial leadership first begun in 2006. Its June 2024 event will focus on key subjects that finance chiefs need to stay effective in their roles, and will include a keynote speech by Wetteny Joseph, CFO of Zoetis, a Parsippany, New Jersey-based animal healthcare company.
