Schneider Electric India appoints Preeti Gupta Mohanty as Group CFO

Schneider Electric India has appointed Preeti Gupta Mohanty its Group CFO, effective February 1. Technically, her designation will be Vice President – Greater India Finance.

Preeti brings over 20 years of extensive finance experience across FMCG, consulting and industrial sectors.

Prior to taking up her new role, she was working as the Region Vice President – Finance at Ingersoll Rand, a multinational company that provides a broad range of innovative and mission-critical air, fluid, energy and medical technologies.

Preeti managed the EMEIA region's finance function with a business size of $1.8 billion, managed over 30 manufacturing sites and a finance shared service centre based in Bangalore. She played a crucial role in steering the financial strategy of the company.

Preeti has also worked at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer for 12 years, demonstrating her diverse expertise in finance and strategic leadership. Most notable being leading the integration of Novartis consumer business into GSK as the Internal Audit Head, highlights her strategic and operational capabilities in driving organizational growth and efficiency.

Her financial career began at Deloitte, where she gained foundational experience, before transitioning to Coca-Cola India as the Region Finance Manager.

This diverse background reflects her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive business performance in dynamic environments.

Preeti has earned several accolades. She was recognized among the Top 100 CFOs of India in 2023 and received the Best Woman CFO Award from Dalal Street Journal in 2022. She was also recognized amongst Best CFO in M&A category in 2020.
