Gen II Fund Services promotes six to principal

The fund administrator now has 33 principals.

New York-based Gen II Fund Services, one of the country’s largest independent fund administrators, has promoted six of its client service professionals to principal. Gen II now has 33 principals on its team.

“It is an honor to recognize these talented and dedicated professionals that have been so dedicated to Gen II,” said Steven Millner, managing principal and co-founder of Gen II.

Promoted to principal were Joshua Feldstein, Jonathan Goldstein, Michael Hall, James Mayer, Yeva Rakhamimova and Richard Zheng.

According to LinkedIn, Feldstein was a director at Gen II. He also served as a financial associate at JPMorgan Chase.

Goldstein has been with the firm for six years and has more than two decades experience in the financial services industry. He was previously controller and vice-president at GTIS Partners.

Prior to joining the firm three years ago, Hall spent four years at Brown Brother Harriman, mostly recently as assistant vice-president, client services manager.

Myers has been with the firm eight years. He was previously with SS&C GlobeOp, where he most recently served as senior manager, and was controller at Fenway Partners for four years.

Rakhamimova joined Gen II in January 2016. Prior to joining the firm, she was supervisor of investor relations at Citco Fund Services for a year. Rakhamimova also spent eight years at Citi Private Equity Services as an assistant vice-president.

Zheng has been with the firm eight years and prior to joining he was also an assistant vice-president at Citi Private Equity Services.

The latest round of promotions come as the private equity service provider has been expanding. Last year, Gen II acquired Denver private fund servicer Stone Pine Accounting. At the time, Millner said that the firm needs quality people to keep pace with the rapidly maturing private equity business.
