Tata Power re-appoints Praveer Sinha as CEO & MD for four years
"We wish to inform that, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board, at its meeting held today, approved the re-appointment of Dr. Praveer Sinha as the CEO & Managing Director of the Company for a period of four years from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2027, subject to approval of the Members of the Company," Tata Power said in a regulatory filing.
Tata Power has re-appointment Dr. Praveer Sinha as CEO & Managing Director of the company for a period of four years, the company said today.
The re-appointment will take effect from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2027 (i.e. date of superannuation from the Company). His present tenure as a CEO & Managing Director will conclude on April 30, 2023.

Sinha is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has also done his Master’s in Business Law. He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and is a visiting Research Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA.
