Ex-Blue Dart executive Aneel Gambhir joins DTDC as new CFO

Integrated express logistics company DTDC Express Ltd has appointed Blue Dart's ex-finance executive Aneel Gambhir as its new CFO, two industry sources told ETCFO. His appointment is effective from Thursday. DTDC's current CFO Santosh Abbimane is said to have moved into a new role within the company.

New DTDC finance chief Gambhir was previously associated with Blue Dart as its CFO and worked for over 25 years there. The finance veteran has nearly three decades of experience spanning across strategic planning, risk management, and fundraising. In his new innings with DTDC, he is expected to play a key strategic role.

Gambhir could not be reached for his comment, while queries to DTDC remained unanswered till the publication of this copy.

DTDC has a network of over 14,000 physical customer access points servicing over 14,000 pin codes, reaching approximately 96% of India’s population. Internationally, it extends shipping services to more than 220 destinations across the world through our global delivery partners.

In 2013, DTDC entered into a strategic partnership with GeoPost, the express logistics arm of Le Group La Poste (La Poste). La Poste is a French state-owned global multi-business services group with a presence in France and globally.
